SMS Messaging Program — Opt-In Information

MyFollowUp is a mobile platform used by local service businesses (barbershops, salons, contractors, cleaners, and similar businesses) to send automated SMS follow-up messages to their customers.
Messages may include: appointment reminders, rebooking prompts, service follow-ups, review requests, and promotional offers. All recipients have a prior service relationship with the sending business.
When a customer visits a business, staff verbally asks:
"May we send you a text message to follow up after your visit? You may receive messages about your service, rebooking reminders, review requests, and promotions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Consent is not required to receive our services."
The customer verbally agrees and provides their phone number, which the business records in the MyFollowUp app.
When a business owner adds a customer in the MyFollowUp app, they confirm the customer has provided explicit consent to receive SMS messages. The MyFollowUp Terms of Service require all businesses to obtain consent before messaging customers.
